Private Water Supply and GWDTE Assessments

Kaya have provided Private Water Supply (PWS) and groundwater assessments for a range of developments (including solar/wind farms, forestry plantations and residential/commercial developments). Kaya has staff members with a geological background and specialist training from CIEEM in the identification of Groundwater Dependent Terrestrial Ecosystems (GWDTE) and use of water monitoring equipment to identify groundwater.

Kaya Consulting have undertaken numerous PWS assessments for a range of developments and project scales across Scotland. We have extensive experience in the identifying properties required for assessment and communication with homeowners/landowners/councils to aid in the identification of PWS abstraction sources. Kaya also has experience and monitoring equipment to determine any groundwater input to PWS and to assess potential impacts of development on supplies.
